Perce Jerrom
29/1/17 - 5/2/17

For our first residency we were pleased to welcome London based artist Perce Jerrom. Perce’s practice questions a number of complex systems that exist both online and offline. Focussing his attention on tutorial learnt techniques, Perce’s works, whilst heavily influenced by craft, draw on personal experience and nostalgia. Taking his large paintings, Denim Paintings 1 & 2  (Indigo), for example Perce uses a home-made large-scale brush to create a denim effect simillar to the trend that swept interior design magazines in the 90s and ended up on his own walls at home.
